Directed Vapor Technologies International, Inc., (DVTI) specializing in coatings of complex aerospace components, www.directedvapor.com, announced today that the company will exhibit its advance coating process, Directed Vapor Deposition (DVD) at the 20th annual MRO Americas Conference & Exhibition, presented by Penton’s Aviation Week (http://www.aviationweek.com), on April 14-16, 2015 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, FL. The company will appear at Booth Number 400.

The Aviation Week MRO Americas Conference & Exhibition will explore the future of aviation and defense maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) through a series of drill-down discussions and networking opportunities drawing 10,000 industry and government professionals. The event features the industry’s largest exhibition floor, which showcases 700+ solution providers to communicate actionable solutions, build contacts and exchange ideas.

DVTI will spotlight its advanced coating technology to the Aviation MRO community. The process, directed vapor deposition, is an affordable, high quality version of EB-PVD (Electron Beam – Physical Vapor Deposition) that has the capability of non-line-of-sight coating onto standard surfaces as well as surfaces with complex geometries. The process has the ability to deposit many types of ceramic and metallic compositions for a broad range of functions. Much of DVTI’s work has been with turbine engine hot sections components with thermal barrier, oxidation and hot corrosion coatings. DVD can also provide an environmentally friendly alternative to heavy metal corrosion and wear resistant coatings by coating high strength steel components with aluminum and aluminum alloys. Typical parts for this type of coating are complex landing gear components with significant inner surfaces.

DVTI offers many types of services for the MRO industry from engineering to design and development of specialized coating compositions to contract coating services in our facility using our state of the art coating equipment. The DVD process offers superior coating capabilities that can create the highest quality coatings for the most demanding performance requirements.
